Meet Steve Szymczak, the Vice President of Infinity Technologies nestled in the heart of Oak Lawn, Illinois. This tech-savvy, ambidextrous track star is the mastermind behind many memorable projects, including the design and build of a cutting-edge BMW dealership equipped with data and AV systems.
When Steve was young, he had a special spark; legend says was already wired for tech. He spent his days helping his electrician father and was the proud President of the Computer Robotics Club in high school – talk about a high-voltage resume! But Steve wasn’t content with just being the head of the club, oh no. Szymczak founded a special club to repair computers for teachers. With a zest for technology, it’s clear that a career in the digital world was always in the circuits for Steve.
After a chance encounter with the owner of Infinity at an Office Depot, Steve was led to his calling. Impressed by his computer expertise at a young age, Mike offered him a job after making a purchase for a client. Steve was ultimately drawn to the company’s early stages and eagerness to grow. He’s played a crucial role in driving Infinity’s success ever since.
As current VP, this tech whiz knows a thing or two about keeping things exciting. He loves the thrill of a fresh project, meeting new faces, and being a part of an assignment from start to finish. With his curiosity for all things digital, determination to improve, and love for a good laugh, Steve brings a fun and creative energy to the team.
When he’s not building the future of the “biz”, you can catch him juggling work and play – spending time with family, reminiscing about his Maui honeymoon, flying drones, scaling mountains, constructing Lego masterpieces, and scouting out the best caffeine fix.
Fueling his tech wizardry is a steady diet of junk and java. And while Steve may not be a bookworm, (except for tech manuals, of course), he’s a comedy buff. His all-time favorite movie? “Step Brothers,” no contest!
In the next few years, Szymczak hopes to continue expanding his knowledge and understanding of installing infrastructure, building and electrical codes, and continuing to keep an open mind for opportunities to learn something new.
